About this converter
Celsius and Kelvin have the same step size, offset by 273.15. Fahrenheit uses a different zero point and a step 5/9 the size of a degree Celsius, so temperatures need a formula, not a simple multiplier: °F = °C × 9/5 + 32.
Common Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions
To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 9/5 and add 32. To go back, subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9.
| Value | Celsius → Fahrenheit | Fahrenheit → Celsius |
